Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the added 1.02%.
The best performers of the session on the were Chr Hansen Holding A/S (CSE:), which rose 4.81% or 26.4 points to trade at 575.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Ambu A/S (CSE:) added 3.58% or 9.7 points to end at 281.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was up 2.53% or 30.0 points to 1217.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:), which fell 1.69% or 245 points to trade at 14250 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:) declined 1.00% or 1.2 points to end at 118.8 and Genmab (CSE:) was down 0.83% or 17.0 points to 2028.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 66 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.15% or 0.09 to $60.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.22% or 0.14 to hit $64.29 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.20% or 20.75 to trade at $1711.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.16% to 6.3157, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 92.873.
